In order save your excess tax payment (if any), I advise to submit form 15H (only for senior citizens) immediately after booking a term /Fixed Deposit.

Please note:

A fresh form 15H needs to be submitted as an when you book a new term /Fixed Deposit in future in a same financial year.
Every new financial year, a fresh form 15H Request needs to placed even though its a old term / Fixed Deposit.
