How to pay Direct Taxes online on the new Income tax e-Filing portal TIN 2.0 with Kotak?
Kotak customers – both individuals and corporates – can now pay direct taxes like TDS, Advance tax, Self-Assessment (Income Tax) etc. instantly on the newly-launched Income Tax e-filing portal (TIN 2.0).
Here’s a stepwise guide to make Direct Tax payment:-
· Visit https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/...
· Fill in the Challan details and Create a Challan
· On the Payment Page, choose Kotak Bank and pay via Net banking
· Download/Save the online challan receipt instantly
How to download Challan Receipt in 3 steps from Income Tax e-Filing portal:-
1. Login to Income tax portal - https://eportal.incometax.gov.in/iec/...
(For BSR Code, 5 digit challan Number & Tender Date)
2. Visit e-File menu & select E-Pay Tax from the drop down (E-File - E-Pay Tax)
3. Go on Payment History menu and for the respective CIN, download the Challan Receipt by clicking three dots under Action menu (Payment History - CIN - Action - Download)
