To activate wearable payment device for in-store payments, please enable contactless feature following below steps:
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
Step 2: Cards à Debit Card--> Card controls--> Select Wearable Payment Device --> Enable card status --> Enable “Contactless” payments in Domestic controls --> Confirm
Pin is required for transaction above Rs 5,000/-. Pls refer below FAQ to set pin.
*In case of Smart Vital Plus, you can activate your health subscription by registering on GOQii App using activation voucher (sent in the Smart Vital Plus Box) and mobile number registered with the bank.
Follow below path to enable transactions or modify limits:
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
Step 2: Cards --> Debit Card--> Card controls--> Select Wearable Payment Device --> Enable card status --> Enable “Contactless” payments in Domestic controls--> Confirm
Step 3: To modify limits --> Limit management/ controls --> Edit limit of “Contactless” payments --> Confirm
Note: Only Domestic contactless, and ECOM transactions are allowed hence you will only be able to enable/ modify limits for these payment types.
You can also visit nearest branch to submit request for change of transaction limits.
Step 1- Enable contactless transactions through Mobile Banking App/ Net Banking
Step 2- To make payments, place your payment chip strap near the contactless symbol ))) on the POS machine at merchant outlets.
Step 3- Your transactions is done with a beep/ green light on the POS machine. Pls do not forget to collect the receipt for the contactless payment you made.
Pin is required for transactions > Rs 5,000/-.
*Transaction will only happen if Wearables (Payment chip strap of the smart watch) is tapped on the POS terminal within a distance of 4 cms.
To enable Ecommerce transactions and modify limits on your wearable payment device follow below path:
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
Step 2: Cards --> Debit Card--> Card controls--> Select Wearable payment Device --> Enable card status --> Enable “Ecom/Online” payments in Domestic controls--> Confirm
Step 3: To modify limits --> Limit management/ controls --> Edit limit of “Ecom/Online” payments --> Confirm
To know the card details associated with your wearable payment device and generate Pin for making online transactions, pls refer below FAQs.
Please follow below path:
Step 1: Login to Kotak Bank Mobile Banking or Net Banking.
Step 2: Go to Cards --> Debit Card--> On “Overview” screen select card number that displays your Wearable payment device --> click “Show card details” -->Enter OTP --> Click “Show CVV” --> Enter OTP

Step 1: Login to Kotak Bank Net Banking.
Step 2: On the Home Page --> Scroll down to “Your Cards” section --> Clicking ‘More Details’ beside wearable image --> enter OTP --> Details will be visible
To SET PIN follow below path:
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking
Step 2: Cards --> Debit Card--> Regenerate Pin--> Select card number associated with your wearable payment device --> Enter New PIN --> Confirm new PIN--> Submit

Card details can be viewed on Mobile Banking and Net Banking)

To register for Kotak Mobile Banking pls download the app --> Click ‘Already have a Kotak account --> Enter existing Debit card details or Net banking password to generate MPIN.
*You will need Customer Relationship Number (CRN) which is Reference number mentioned on new account opening welcome letter.
Yes, follow below path to disable payments for Wearable as per your needs:
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
If you want to disable specific type of payment only then,
Step 2: Cards > Debit Card--> Card controls--> Select card number associated with your wearable --> Disable card status --> Click Confirm
If you want to disable specific type of payment only then,
Step 2: Cards > Debit Card--> Card controls--> Select card number associated with your wearable payment device --> Disable “Contactless” or “ECOM/ Online” payments in Domestic controls as per your need.
*Pls do not disable card status else card will be disabled for all payment types.
Contactless payments need to be enabled on the device by visiting Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
Step 2: Cards --> Debit Card--> Card controls--> Select card number associated with your Wearable payment device --> Enable card status --> Enable “Contactless” payments in Domestic controls --> Confirm
Please check the daily contactless payment limits that you have set. If you have exhausted your daily contactless payment limit, it can be enhanced by following the below process:
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
Step 2: Cards --> Debit Card--> Card controls--> Select card number associated with your Wearable payment device --> Limit management/ controls --> Edit limit of “Contactless” payments --> Confirm

If you are facing trouble with making contactless payment using your device then pls check if contactless payments are enabled on your device and you have not exhausted daily purchase limit. If still payments are not working then you can block and place a replacement request on your Kotak Mobile Banking App by following below steps:
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
Step 2: Cards --> Debit Card--> Lost/ Stolen/ Closure --> Select ‘closure’ --> Check box ‘Replacement required’ --> Submit Request.
Replacement charges applicable.
*If the device is smart vital plus provided by GOQii then Card linked will be closed and only payment chip strap will be replaced. Please connect with GOQii for replacement of other parts. If your watch with strap is lost/stolen, pls proceed to close the card without applying for replacement. You can apply for a new device from ‘Wearable Payments’ section.
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
You can block the debit card associated with the Wearable Payment device by calling the Kotak Bank Customer Support on 1860 266 2666 or through your Kotak Bank Mobile Banking App or Net Banking by following below steps. We request you to please do this immediately if you lose your device.
Step 1: Login to Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking.
Step 2: Cards --> Debit Card--> Lost/ Stolen/ Closure --> Select card number associated with your wearable payment device --> Select ‘Lost/ stolen’ as applicable --> Submit Request.
Please note that if you check box ‘Replacement required’, only payment chip strap of the watch will be replaced. You can apply for a new device from the Kotak Mobile Banking App or Net Banking after blocking the existing device.

Renewal of the wearable is not allowed by the Bank. You can place replacement request for the strap through Kotak Mobile Banking App/ Net Banking by following the below steps:
There are three major components of the device constituting:
1- Smart Vital Plus Tracker provided by GOQii Technologies Pvt Ltd (To measure SpO2, Body Temperature, Heart Rate, Blood Pressure, Steps, Time and more)
2- 12 and 15 holes Strap provided by GOQii Technologies Pvt Ltd (To hold the smart device)
3- Payment chip strap with Contactless Chip / Secure Element / NFC to make contactless payment provided by the bank.

It is non-returnable.
If your device is Smart Vital Plus then you can connect with the bank customer support for replacement of payment strap if payments are not working. You can connect with GOQii customer support for replacement of your smart watch if it is not working.
