I got a message on account blocked due to NAME MISMATCH observed between Aadhaar & PAN card submitted during Full KYC procedure. What should I do

When a name mismatch is detected between your Aadhaar and PAN card during the Full KYC process, your account is blocked due to failure of verification.

You can unblock your account by submitting any one of the documents listed below:

1] Updated PAN Card (with name as per Aadhaar card)

OR

2] ANY ONE from these as ID Proof:

  • Gazette (if name has changed)
  • Marriage Certificate - Issued by Govt. (if name has changed after marriage)

Ensure that the document proof you are submitting has your name as per Aadhaar card.

To raise request:

  • CLICK on “I need more help” button and write to us
  • FILL the required details
  • MENTION document type(PAN card, Gazette copy or Marriage Certificate) in the Query/Feedback text box
  • ATTACH a JPEG/PDF (maximum size allowed 5 MB) of any one of the proof mentioned above
  • CLICK on Submit

Remember:

  • Only 1 attachment is permitted. Multiple files can be added to and uploaded as one file.

To update your PAN card:

  • Visit the PAN NSDL website/Centre.
  • Once updated, you may submit the PAN card with your name as per Aadhaar Card as ID proof for Full KYC.
