Please do the following checks,

1. Make sure you are using the correct PIN for your Credit Card. If you have forgoten your PIN, you can always regenrate your Credit Card PIN online 

On Mobile Banking

  1. Go to Credit Card
  2. Select Credit Card Service Requests
  3. Select Instantly Generate PIN

On Net Banking

  1. Go to Credit Card
  2. Select Service Requests
  3. Select Instant PIN Generation

2. Check for scratches or cracks on the magnetic strip or the chip. If your card is damaged, please place a Replacement request

On Net banking

  1. Go to Credit Card -> Service Request
  2. Select Card Replacement Request

On Mobile Banking

  1. Go to Credit Card -> Service Request
  2. Report Lost / Damaged card -> Select check box for Replacement Required

         Replacement fee of Rs 100 along with applicable GST will be charged.

3. Check your transaction amount and the available limit on your Credit Card. If your available limit is lesser than the transaction amount, the transaction may get declined. You can check online if you are eligible for increasing your credit limit.

On Mobile Banking

  1. Go to Credit Card
  2. Select Credit Card Service Requests
  3. Select Card Limit Increase

On Net Banking

  1. Go to Credit Card
  2. Select Value Added Services
  3. Select Limit Enhancement

Please Note: If you are not eligible for Limit enhancement online, you can call our 24x7 helpline and place and limit enhancement request and provide your income proof documents (subject to approval basis the income documents) 

4. Check with the merchant if any specific error was seen on the machine so that you can take corrective steps accordingly.
