Inoperative Accounts

Accounts that are not operated for a period of more than 24 months from date of last customer induced transactions (Financial, Non-Financial transaction or KYC updation) are tagged as Dormant / inoperative.

  • Account can also be activated by visiting any of the Bank Branch. Below are the indicative list of documents required to be submitted at any of our branches for account activation -
    • Dormant account activation form, click here
    • Latest valid Identity & Address proof of holder/signatory. Please carry the originals for verification when you visit the branch.
    • Photograph (Mandatory in case ReKYC needs to be updated)

For claiming the funds (activating the account/closure of account), below are the indicative list of documents required to be submitted at any of our branches:

  • RBI DEAF Claim Form, please click here
  • Latest valid KYC documents & Photograph of each holder/signatory. Please carry the originals for verification when you visit the branch.
  • Original Term Deposit Receipt / Demand Draft (if applicable)
  • Branch official will assist with required forms for continuation / closure of the account during in person branch visit. If depositor is not able to visit branch, please contact nearest branch for assistance.
