Steps for setting a Beneficiary transaction request on Net Banking / Mobile Banking:
- Log in to Mobile / Net Banking
- Click on the ‘Banking’ tab and select Cardless Cash Withdrawal (IMT)
- Go to ‘Register a beneficiary‘ to add a beneficiary for Cardless Cash withdrawal (IMT) and fill in the required details
- For a registered beneficiary, select ‘Send money to a beneficiary at an ATM’ and select the beneficiary you would like to send the money to
- Enter the amount you wish to send
- Set a 4-digit Sender Code of your choice. This will be required to be entered at the Kotak ATM to withdraw cash
- Re-enter the 4-digit Sender Code and confirm the details to complete the request
- Share the 4-digit Sender Code to your beneficiary
All that the beneficiary will need to do is enter the sender code along with the 4-digit SMS PIN he/she receives on his/her mobile number at the ATM.
Steps to withdraw cash at the Kotak ATM:
- Select the option 'Withdraw cash without card (IMT)' on the ATM screen
- The beneficiary needs to enter the authorised mobile number
- The beneficiary needs to enter the 4-digit sender code
- The beneficiary needs to enter the SMS Code that he receives on the mobile number authorized for Cardless Cash Withdrawal
- To withdraw, enter the exact amount received from the sender on mobile SMS alert — partial withdrawals are not allowed
- Collect your cash
For your safety, the Cardless Cash request will expire the following day. The amount will be refunded to your Bank account in case the cash is not withdrawn within the said period.
There is a minimum transaction limit of Rs. 100/- and maximum of Rs. 5,000 per transaction. Maximum per day limit per CRN is Rs.10,000/- subject to the cap of Rs. 25,000 per month per beneficiary as prescribed by RBI.
